“Evidence is too dangerous”

On this day in 2011, the US crossed a major legal and ethical line.

They executed a US citizen without an indictment and without a trial – and they said it was OK and they’d do it again.

Was the victim Anwar Al-Awlaki a good guy? Probably not.

But we will never know.

What crime was he accused of? It turns out none.

What evidence was presented to justify this? According to “leaders,” the evidence is “too dangerous to reveal.”
