Police would form a ring around assaulted cyclists making it difficult to see what was happening to riders after they were knocked off their bicycles. Eye witnesses reported cyclists on the ground being kicked and clubbed by police.
The officer below (far left) was particularly violent lashing out at cyclists and pedestrians alike. No officer on the scene attempted to restrain or otherwise calm him down.
