No one loves books more than me.

By extension, public libraries and independent bookstores (and even chain stores) have played an enormous positive role in my life.

Unfortunately, we’ve got a serious problem with our libraries today, and it’s not trivial.

Do I have a solution?

No, but the solution to every problem starts with recognizing and describing the problem.
