What did he know . . . and when? Bush said he was sitting outside the classroom, waiting to go in, when he saw the FIRST plane. But no footage of that hit the public sphere until the Naudet brothers’ footage hit the airwaves far later. “I used to fly myself,” he said, “and I said, ‘Oh, there’s one terrible pilot.'”
