“They’re violating the rights of everyone in the country”
And it’s still going on
The US is a surveillance state
This reality has fallen from public consciousness pretty quickly, but it doesn’t matter than anything has changed.
In fact, NOTHING has changed.
The NSA and friends continue to vacuum up every phone conversation, email, fax, and text and store it.
This is a clear violation of the Fourth Amendment.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated.
I wonder what part of “shall not be violated” the spooks, judges and Congressmen don’t understand.
